Private In-home Training: Single Sessions
Customized, 1-on-1, Private In-home Training
Enjoy a 1-hr training experience where you’ll learn to use positive reinforcement/reward-based techniques to communicate with your dog and have a blast doing it!
A certified trainer will come to your home (or other agreed upon location) to assess, train, and provide you with the tools to continue your dog’s training on your own.
By observing your dog and your interactions in its home environment, behavioral issues can be precisely identified and addressed. This method ensures the dog's behavior is not influenced by the stress of being assessed in an unfamiliar location.
*Note: A consultation must have taken place at least 24 hrs. before the training session.

Private In-home Training: 4-packs
Certain behavioral issues may take more than a single session to resolve. Factors such as the length of time the behavior has been occurring, the severity, previous training attempts, and whether trauma, and aggression are involved are factors that may require multiple training sessions.
Resolving significant behavioral issues is a key investment into ensuring a harmonious relationship with you and your family. You will be advised during your consultation if multiple sessions are required.

Training Walks: Single Walk (30 or 60 min)
Whether you're looking for dog training in Harlem or the Upper West Side, training walks are the perfect way hand off the leash to your certified trainer to implement anything leash related: pulling, dropping anchor (plopping), ground grazing, leash reactivity, lunging, jumping, dog-dog greetings, chasing birds/squirrels, and reactivity to people, dogs, or objects (bikes, scooters, wheelchairs etc.).
Designed to accompany a training session and to be a trainer-dog solo walk
Training walks are most efficient when used in conjunction with private training sessions where leash skills are taught.
*An initial consultation is required for new clients.

Training Walk Packages: 5 and 10-packs for 30 or 60 min walks)
Training walks are an amazing way to reinforce leash skills taught during private sessions! All walks are conducted by a certified trainer and you are not required to attend. When time is short, training tends to be more efficient when it's 1 on 1!

Scheduling Policies
Pre-appointment details
Prior to booking please acknowledge having read the cancellations and refund policies, sign the waiver form, and complete your intake form. Go to you receipt of purchase or appointment reminder form to fill out edit or fill out the forms if you haven’t already.
Appointments may be booked up to 12 hrs before hand or with Dr. Hernandez’ approval. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Accepted methods of payment include: Credit cards, ATM cards, Apple Pay and Peer to Peer Payment Apps (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App -which are always welcome as they don’t incur processing fees! Just call to arrange before booking.) or cash if paid in advance.
Please Note: Most appointments require that an initial consultation be booked and completed at least 24 hrs. before your scheduled training session.
Scheduling Package Appointments
If purchasing a package, please use the code assigned at purchase to book remaining appointments: either a single training session or a single training walk rather than by going to packages. Enter code during checkout in the coupon/code box.
Cancellation policies/Late Arrivals
Appointments (other than group classes) may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hrs in advance without loss of payment.
Cancellations <24 hrs and no call/no shows will forfeit entire prepayment.
Cancellations approved by both parties due to inclement weather or other circumstances will incur no fee and will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience.
Cancellations for Group Classes are not refunded but may be made up by booking a private session ($50 fee for outdoor classes or $10 0 for indoor classes to cover space rental charge).
Late arrivals are ok - we live in NYC right? However, the group classes and private sessions must end at the same time.
Service Areas & Travel Fees

Whether you’re dealing with puppy obedience, reactivity, or leash manners, our reward-based programs are designed to meet the unique needs of city dogs and their owners.
Clients who want service in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and New Jersey will be required to pay an extra travel/time expense or can travel to me at the regular rate.
Travel time fees
0–30 min = $0
31–45 min = $25
46–60 min = $50
60+ min = $75–$100
Aggressive Dogs
All dogs must be friendly and reasonably quiet to be in group classes.
Please let me know if there is any history of aggression to humans or other dogs before class begins because there may be more appropriate training possibilities I can offer.
Aggressive, overly loud dogs will be asked to attend private training sessions rather than group classes.
All dogs can be aggressive, it’s absolutely fine, let’s work together!
Sick Dogs
All dogs must be in good health with no obvious symptoms of illness including: Diarrhea, coughing, discharge from nose or eyes etc.
Please call to cancel any immanent appointments ASAP.
Last minute cancelations <1hr may still be charged a fee at the discretion of the Dr. Hernandez.
Cancelled appointments should be made up ASAP as to not disrupt the training flow.
Dogs found to be sick at/after drop off will be sent home immediately. Class will be refunded or rescheduled at the discretion of Dr. Hernandez.
